SnoreMeds™ has been marketed globally for the last 6 years and currently has distributors in South Africa, United States of America, Europe, Norway (Baltic regions) Australia and New Zealand. SnoreMeds™ employs a specialized team of professionals all qualified in their areas of expertise. The devices are assembled and packaged at the SnoreMeds premises and strict control with quality checks are taken to ensure the highest quality products.
The splint treats snoring by moving the lower jaw forward slightly, which tightens the soft tissue and muscles of the upper airway to prevent obstruction of the airway during sleep. The tightening created by the device also prevents the tissues of the upper airway from vibrating as air passes over them – the most common cause of loud snoring.
Mandibular advancement splints have been widely used for the last decade and are a recommended treatment by many dentists and doctors. Where appropriate, they are considered a good therapy choice as they are non-invasive, easily reversible, quiet, and generally well accepted by the patient.
SnoreMeds™ is available in two sizes, being the original fit, which fits most mouths, as well as a smaller fit, providing a solution for men and women with smaller mouths and narrower pallets. In either case, you would custom-mould the SnoreMeds mouthpiece to fit your individual mouth, ensuring a perfect fit.
